Dale F. Walker, PT

Dale Walker founded the Developmental Pediatric Therapy Clinic in 1985.  She graduated from Florida International University and is certified in Pediatric Neuro-developmental Treatment (NDT), Advanced NDT Treatment of the Head and Neck, and Cranio-sacral Therapy.  Dale has over 30 years experience in pediatrics, including hospital, school, early intervention and clinic based treatment.  Her special interests include cerebral palsy as well as the treatment of the severely disabled.  Her treatment focuses on identifying and modifying abnormal movement and stabilization patterns which interfere with the development of more normal gross motor skills. 

 

Maritza I. Hall, OTR

Maritza Hall joined the Developmental Pediatric Therapy Clinic in 1985. She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico and is certified in Neuro-developmental Treatment (NDT), Cranio-Sacral Therapy and the Therapeutic Listening Program.  Maritza has over 30 years of experience in the field of pediatrics, including school-based therapy, homebound, early intervention and clinic based treatment.  Her special interests include working with children with developmental delays, learning disabilities, autism, and cerebral palsy.  Her treatment involves the use of Sensory Integration and the Neuro-developmental approach to enhance the progression of postural and movement control, and facilitate the development of sensory processing with the purpose of improving the foundation for academic learning and independence in self care.

 

Wendy L. Kurtz, OTR

Wendy Kurtz joined the Developmental Pediatric Therapy Clinic in 1989.  She is a graduate of Colorado State University with over 30 years experience in pediatrics including school based, home health, residential, early intervention, and clinic based treatment.  Wendy is certified in the administration of the Southern California Sensory Integration Test (SCSIT), pediatric Neuro-developmental Treatment (NDT), Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Samonas Sound Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, and Interactive Metronome.  Her special interests include working with children with learning disabilities, autism, developmental delay, and ADHD.  Neuro-developmental and Sensory Integration treatment enhance the quality of movement and sensory processing which provide the base for social interactions, academic abilities, and self care independence.
